How To Buy

In order to buy products from us you need to

1. ..find the products you want
2. ..log In (or register)
3. ..have a valid credit card or Credit Account

Finding Products

You can find your product by selecting the product category and sub category from the lists presented on the left side of the screen. You may also enter a manufacturer’s name, a part number (or fragment) or indeed any other word or phrase that you think appropriate (tick the method you want to use). You can also look at all manufacturers.

You will then see a list of matching Manufacturers and related product types. Select one of these to see a list of items matching your criteria. You may also be able to further refine your search at this stage.

When you have identified the product, confirm the quantity and click "add to Basket".

Log In or Register

Although you can add items to your basket at any time, when you need to check out, we need to know who you are. If you have already registered then you just need to log in. If you have not previously registered then you will be asked basic information such as name, address and login information. Please read our terms and conditions regarding use of and purchasing from this web site.

You can log in (or out) at any time.

Checking Out

You need to select your carriage method and delivery details at this time. Carriage is dependent on geographical location, urgency of requirement and order value. For local orders more than £25 in value a 2/3 day delivery is FREE.

We will now validate your credit card details or confirm your Credit Account status.

Please note that your credit card details are only kept on our system until the order has been processed. Details are automatically deleted once the order is complete.

Assuming all is OK, you will receive a confirmatory email and the goods will follow in due course.

Setting Up Credit

If you already have a credit account with us, please contact websupport@scatts.co.uk to enable your credit line via the web. Any pre-agreed terms will then be applied on your final invoice; the web confirmation will, however, only show gross values.

You can apply for a credit account by downloading (here) and completing our credit application form. This must be signed and sent to the address listed on it. Please note that it may take several days to enable your credit status.
