Type BXA IECEx-ATEX approved nickel plated brass barrier fittings are designed for use also with a Sealtite liquid tight conduit for loose wires and unarmoured cables (stripped) in a potentially explosive atmosphere. The barrier is made by mixing a 2 component epoxy resin which is supplied standard with each individual fitting. Typical applications include motors, transformers, control equipment, Ex enclosures, terminal boxes and instruments in the chemical and petrochemical, oil and gas, bulk handling, wood processing and food and pharma industries.
