Inxpect multi-area dynamic 3D safety radar

Revolutionary 3D Safety Radar Systems

Working in any environment can be hazardous, but no more so that when working in the presence of moving machinery. At all times the safety of operators and machines must be paramount.

This means ensuring that the workplace is hazard free at all times and that potentially dangerous situations are detected early and responded to quickly.

Whilst safety systems are continuously evolving, it is rare for a new innovation to radically change hazard perception significantly. Until now.

The world's first SIL2 PLd Radar system

Inxpect 3D safety radar systems are among the most advanced safety sensors of their kind

Not only do they fulfil basic safety requirements for presence sensing and collision avoidance, they allow safety and hazard perception to be fully integrated with process automation whilst not being affected by interference that can render existing safety systems inoperable.

The next generation of industrial safety systems

Inxpect sensors can be placed in multiple different locations allowing a complete 3D map of an area to be created. The whole area is monitored for potential hazards, whether moving or static, allowing operators, machines and processes to co-exist as never before. They are unaffected by smoke, dust particles, bright lights, machine residues or moisture allowing continuous monitoring under any conditions.

Just some of the key features Inxpect can offer include:

  • SIL2 / PLd certification (first radar sensor to achieve this!)
  • High sensitivity detection — can detect micro-movements (including breathing!) to prevent accidental machine restarts
  • Functions natively in 3D to protect dangerous areas volumetrically so operators cannot bypass the radar or defeat the protections in any way
  • Has a wide range of applications that can be integrated into existing processes
  • Able to respond to potentially dangerous situations and hazardous depending on proximity e.g. slowing a machine when an operator draws near and stopping it completely if they enter a cell
  • Unaffected by interference that can compromise functionality of existing safety solutions

For any questions about the Inxpect safety radar system and how they can help your processes work more efficiently and safely then contact your local branch today and our TÜV certified safety engineers will be able to provide you with all the guidance support you require to deliver your objectives.
