BEKA is an independent British company which was founded in 1983 by Chris and Jenny Burkitt. They started by managing the company from a single room in their home and were providing a design and consultancy service for intrinsically safe products.

Today, they are operating from a larger office building which accommodates their workforce of over 40 employees from sales to production and design staff.

BEKA remains an independent company, designing and manufacturing their cost-effective display instrumentation for hazardous and safe areas around the world.
