Igus, a leading company in motion plastics, was first established in 1964 by Günter Blase. He started the company in his garage with his injection moulding machine and set out to make his first product, a plastic valve cone for a carburettor.

Since then, the company has made more innovative and ground breaking products and have expanded worldwide with over 4,150 experienced employees, to aid people from large global corporations to smaller customers.

Sustainability is at the forefront of the manufacturing process at Igus and they guarantee that 99% of their plastic waste is reused in production.
