Before the Pepperl + Fuchs that we now know today, Walter Pepperl and Ludwig Fuchs originally started their journey by founding a small radio workshop in Mannheim, Germany.
They gathered their experience as they developed a range of products for customers, which eventually led them to the invention of the proximity switch.
