In 1972, Raxton was founded as a thread conversion business for hazardous areas and industrial applications.

Raxton develop and manufacture high quality adapters and reducers, which are specially made to be fireproof for harsh industrial environments.

In 2010, Raxton was acquired by Cooper industries along with redapt and capri-codec. They were all later integrated into EATON, who now offer one of the widest ranges of conduit, cable and wire management.

Both Redapt and Raxton are now part of the Eaton Group but remain as one of the leading manufactures of thread reducers & adaptors, stopping plugs and breather drains which are all essential in the safe installation of hazardous area equipment.
