Steute was established in 1961 by Friedhelm Rose and Gerhard Sölken in Germany and started their production in an old cigar factory.

Now, Steute is a global leader specialising in the development and manufacture of safe and reliable switchgear. They have around 400 employees working constantly innovating their products to guarantee customers wishes are fulfilled.

Steute have expanded their company to many notable countries to ensure closer proximity to their customers. Steute Europe sales companies are in Germany, Italy, France, Poland, UK and Brazil and an additional sales department in Japan.
