Westermo was founded in 1975 by Tore Andersson, who realised at the time that there was a greater need for reliable data communications in the industrial sector and therefore upgraded the current industry standard data communication to a new and improved version.

Through the years they have continued to innovate products for the industrial market sectors, introducing more durable and reliable products to support the use in physically demanding environments.

Westermo now have sales and support offices in 13 countries with sales partners in many more, with around 300 employees ensuring their customers receive the highest quality products they need.
