The ESM module gives the option to add emergency stop button control to the F-Series Safety System and maintain CAT4 SIL3 PLe performance. The ESM connects via a built in 6-way strap to the adjacent F Series module. The ESM accepts 2 closed contact inputs from either an emergency stop button or mechanical safety switch (locking or non-locking) Indicator LED’s on the ESM provide diagnostic information along with volt free contact status indicator.
