Ethernet module, 2 analog inputs with 16-bit ADC, and 6 digital inputs/outputs
R-2AI-6DIDO is a compact mixed digital module designed for installations with limited space and high-density I/O applications with integrated Ethernet networking. It features a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port and supports both ModBUS TCP-IP and ModBUS RTU communication over RS-485.
The R-2AI-6DIDO model provides 2 analog inputs and 6 digital channels, each individually configurable as a digital input or output. Configuration can be carried out via an HTML5 web server or DIP switches. Using the SDD (Seneca Discovery Device) tool, users can easily identify and configure the module’s IP address, MAC address, and firmware version on the LAN.
The device also includes the advanced ModBUS Passthrough function, allowing ModBUS TCP-IP requests to be forwarded to the RS-485 line, effectively enabling the module to operate as a gateway.
