1-port M-BUS <-> ModBUS RTU/TCP-IP protocol Converter
M-BUS is the main bus used for energy metering and intelligent meter management, i.e. separate recording of heat, water, electricity and gas consumption. R-KEY-MBUS is a converter capable of reading, converting and transferring data from ModBUS RTU/TCP-IP to up to 25 Meter-BUS instruments and vice-versa. It integrates one Ethernet port, one serial port and one M-BUS port.
This product is suitable for applications where power meters, counters, sensors, and Meter-Bus devices need to be interfaced or integrated into a network. With this converter, you can scan the M-BUS network to detect devices, automatically download their configuration and automatically build the ModBUS mapping indicating the address and data type.
The R-KEY-MBUS is configured via a Web Server without the need for external software. The device is also equipped with a database of the main M-Bus devices that are constantly updated to facilitate offline configurations.
